Dr. Steven Shadel, Senior National Content Specialist at Great Minds, has 20 years of experience in education as a math teacher, school leader, and district leader. With a doctorate in educational leadership, he champions the potential of public schools. He has led major initiatives in math instruction, including the Great Minds Schools project. Steven serves on the NCSM board and formerly chaired ICTM. His work centers on empowering students with the language and thinking of mathematicians.
