This 1-hour keynote will focus on what a healthy UDL habit looks like and how to make it stick in one's classroom and school context. Through inspiration and innovation, keynote speaker Nicole Tucker-Smith will share practical research-based steps, strategies, and tools for cultivating and sustaining UDL-aligned actions and dispositions. Participants will take away a doable and energizing process for implementing UDL on a daily basis.
This 75-minute breakout session will build on the ideas shared on the keynote and focus on fostering coaching and collaboration strategies, structures, and systems that support UDL habits and practices. This session is designed for educators and administrators who are interested in developing a deeper understanding of how to create a professional learning environment that promotes and leverages UDL implementation in service of inclusive learning opportunities for every student.
